How it works and who can benefit

Any passenger with special needs can request this service, with assistance provided at all stages of the trip and adapted to individual needs:

If you have difficulty getting to the boarding gate,

we provide a wheelchair to transport you there.

If you have difficulty reaching the boarding gate and going up or down stairs,

we provide a wheelchair that will transport you to the aircraft door.

If you have very reduced mobility that prevents you from moving around the cabin,

we provide a wheelchair that will transport you to your seat on board.

If you want to travel alone and with your own wheelchair, you can do so. You should only:

  • Before departure: notify the need to transport a wheelchair. Each passenger can transport up to two wheelchairs on the aircraft's hold for free;
  • When booking: indicate whether the chair is manual or electric, as well as the battery type and its specifications. To avoid possible short circuits, batteries must be properly protected, stored and disconnected, and the terminals covered with insulating material.

Please take into account the limitations of on-board assistance. If you have severe motor difficulties, you must travel accompanied.

In order for the necessary support to be provided in the best possible way, we recommend that you arrive at the airport with sufficient time and go to the Check-in desk according to these suggested times:
