From Blacktip sharks to seahorses, you will find the most curious, enigmatic and playful creatures, not to mention our famous inhabitant, charismatic Mariza. Did you know that she is the largest and only turtle of her kind in Portugal? 

At SEA LIFE Porto, you can walk through the country's first and only underwater tunnel through 500,000 liters of water, in which you can be face to face with sharks. In the rock pools, there is a sensory experience waiting for you that will introduce you to incredible creatures such as hermit crab and sea cucumbers. You can even touch a starfish and catch a sea urchin!
Every day there is a set of activities for the whole family, including a fun quiz on the marine world with a scavenger hunt for clues and incredible trivia to be discovered!

The space includes a terrace where you can dine while enjoying a privileged view over the Atlantic Ocean.
Additionally discover the new outdoor park and an indoor playground that will delight the little ones!

How to get here

  • By car: Coming from the north - Take the A28, towards Porto. Take the Matosinhos exit at the AEP roundabout, following the Circunvalação on the right. On the slip-road, take the roundabout to the left.
    Coming from the south - Take the A1, heading north. take the Matosinhos exit and at the AEP roundabout take the Circunvalação on the left. On the slip-road, take the roundabout to the left.
  • By Metro: Take Line E (Purple) to Senhora da Hora station and change to Line A (Blue), getting off at Matosinhos Sul station. It is only 20 minutes by foot from Matosinhos Sul Station to SEA LIFE Porto.

In Winter (September 1st to July 14th)
  • 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the week
  • 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays

In Summer (July 15th to August 31st)
  • 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during the week
  • 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays
Activities:
  • Shark feeding every day at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in Gruta dos Oceanos.
  • Feeding of the rays at 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 pm in Baía das Raias.
