TAP refunds

Your travel plans may change unexpectedly. When this happens, this page informs you of the options available to you.

Voluntary refund

If your plans have changed and you no longer wish to take your flight, you can choose to:

  • Reschedule your trip through Manage your Booking; or
  • Request a refund on the same payment method used to purchase the ticket by clicking here.

Your trip will be refunded in accordance with the refund rules for the fare and route purchased. Refund requests made through the Contact Center or TAP sales desks are subject to a refund service fee of EUR 40 / USD 50 / CAD 60, charged per ticket. Involuntary refund

In the event of a flight cancellation or delay that exceeds 5h - and only if you are not traveling on an alternative flight - you can choose to:

  • Reschedule your trip free of charge using one of the following options:
  • Request a refund on the same payment method used to purchase the ticket by clicking here.

Your trip will be refunded in the full value of the ticket for routes that weren't flown.
