Purchase your Chubb Travel Insurance when booking your flight online with TAP. Choose the Insurance option according to the type, start date and duration of the trip, using one of the following options:

  • In the step prior to paying for the booking; or
  • On the booking confirmation page; or
  • Through a quote request.

Coverages and conditions

  • Cancellation costs up to the policy limit + flight cost if you are diagnosed with a contagious disease (1);
  • Reduction costs if you are diagnosed with a contagious disease (1);
  • Medical expenses and repatriation if you are diagnosed with a contagious disease (1);
  • Refund in case of cancellation for reasons such as illness, injury and others + expenses related to medical emergency incidents (before the trip);
  • Flight cancellation costs and emergency medical care (during the trip);
  • Refund in case of lost, stolen or damaged baggage;
  • Compensation for any inconveniences during the trip (including flight delays or cancellations).

Note: Insurance does not cover situations where, at the time of booking, there were already travel warnings issued by government authorities advising against traveling to your destination.
