Ticket change rules

Ponte Aérea offers flexibility to adjust your travel plans, however, you must take into account that changing the flight schedule:

  • Is subject to seat availability;
  • Must be done before the original flight schedule, on the day of the flight, through one of the following channels:

Contact Center, TAP counters at airports or Travel Agencies

Change to any time of the same day, as long as it is done before the original flight schedule.

Online check-in and Self Check-in Kiosks at airports

Flight expediting to a same-day flight (1). Check-in available 36 hours before flight departure.

Check-in counter and boarding gate

Flight expediting to a same-day flight(2).

(1) If you have already checked-in and wish to expedite your flight, you must cancel the current Check-in and start the process again by selecting the new flight.

(2) You will only be assigned a seat if there are seats available. Otherwise, you keep your seat on the original flight. At the boarding gate, it is only possible to bring forward the flight schedule if you do not have hold baggage.
