You can transport alcoholic beverages of up to 70% alcohol. However, these rules must be followed:
- When purchased outside the airport, the limits for the transportation of liquids on board must be respected.
- When bought in the shops (inside the airport) follow the final destination's local authorities rules.
- Handmade drinks are not allowed to be transported.
- Alcoholic beverages transported as hand baggage may not be consumed on board.
Yes, with the exception of homemade drinks. However, the rules for the transport of alcoholic beverages vary according to the percentage of alcohol:
Alcoholic drinks - up to 24% alcohol:
Beverages containing less than 24% of alcohol may be transported with the restriction that the quantity must not exceed the amount allowed by the air import laws of the destination's country. All drinks should be properly packaged in their own packaging, so as to prevent them from parting, and must be transported in the original packaging (retail packaging). TAP Air Portugal is not responsible for breaking containers or spilling alcoholic beverages.
