Special cabin baggage is deemed to be items that need to be transported in the cabin, but are not considered to be free carry-on baggage.

How to book
To ensure safe transportation, special cabin baggage requires booking an extra seat and the following conditions must be met:
We would like to let you know that the booking of special cabin baggage must be made at the same time you book your trip at one of the TAP service counters or through our Contact Center.

- The maximum cabin baggage weight is 30 kg/66,13 Ibs. The maximum size is: 155x42x25 from the floor in the cabin or 110x42x50 on the seat.
- The number of extra seats required will be determined by the carrier.

Important information
For safety reasons, the extra seat for special baggage transport cannot be provided to passengers seated next to emergency exits.
