Special cabin baggage

Over-sized or very fragile items as well as higher value items may be carried with you in the cabin.

Items that can be transported in the cabin

Special cabin baggage is deemed to be items that need to be transported in the cabin, but are not considered to be free carry-on baggage. 
  • Fragile items - works of art, musical instruments
  • Over-sized items - large musical instruments
  • Valuable items - such as diplomatic bags

How to book

To ensure safe transportation, special cabin baggage requires booking an extra seat and the following conditions must be met:
  • The maximum cabin baggage weight is 30 kg/66,13 Ibs. The maximum size is: 155x42x25 from the floor in the cabin or 110x42x50 on the seat.
  • The number of extra seats required will be determined by the carrier.
